Delete your account
From the app
Open the app's settings, choose your account, and choose delete. The app asks you to type a confirmation. Deletion starts at once.
Without the app
Email support@steadyhare.ai with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on the account. We reply to that address to confirm it is you, and we delete the account when you confirm. Nothing else is needed: no phone, no app, no account sign-in.
What deletion does
- Access stops from every device at once, and your synced content becomes unreadable at once, backups included.
- The remaining server copies of your account, your devices and your synced data are removed afterwards, and backups expire within 30 days.
- A minimal record that contains no name and no email is kept so that the account cannot come back.
- Photos sent for AI features were already deleted after processing; none wait for account deletion.
- Your learning record on your own device is yours. Uninstalling the app removes it; export it first if you want to keep it.
Keeping the app without an account
Deleting the account does not delete the app. You can keep using Steady Hare on one device without an account; sync needs one.
